Starfield ship landed on a rocky planet

Starfield Denebola System Location: How to Get to the Denebola System in Starfield

More than meets the eye with this system.

Finding new systems in Starfield to explore can either be a blessing or a curse. Sometimes, you’ll find a beautiful planet that’s worth setting an Outpost on, while other systems can hold the odd waypoint and nothing more. Given how much success there is, though, it isn’t too big a deal. One such system will grant you a free ship if you have the required side mission. Here’s how to get to the Denebola system in Starfield.

The Denebola system can be found near the center of the system map, surrounded by the Cheyenne, Kryx, Porrima, Olympus, and Volii systems. It’s almost like a center point between the five systems, though not perfectly in the center. To get access to it, simply click on the system if you don’t have any others to visit along the chain.

Denebola is home to the following planets and moons:

  • Denebola I
    • Denebola I-A
    • Denebola I-B
  • Denebola II
    • Denebola II-A
  • Denebola III
    • Denebola III-A
    • Denebola III-B

How to Get a Free Ship From the Denebola System

When killing Spacer enemies in any system, there’s a chance they will have a Slate named “Secret Outpost!” on their bodies. Place it in your inventory and read it through the Notes section of that inventory to read about a secret outpost located on the moon of Denebola I-B. This will begin the Mantis side mission, which you’ll want to work through until you’re finished clearing out the outpost. At the end will be a ship named the Razorleaf, which is yours to keep once you get in it.

The Razorleaf is an incredibly strong ship that features solid weapons, armor, and cargo. Alongside being a great ship, it also has the secret feature of scaring Spacers off. As you enter certain systems, Spacers will get scared and fly away, begging for you not to kill them—a small but nice touch.
