Star Wars Battlefront 2 PC Requirements

Like any PC game these days, there are two types of requirements that fans will want to take into account when determining if their rig is good enough to run Star Wars Battlefront 2. First, there are the minimum requirements. These are the requirements that your PC should reach to be able to run the game at all. Now, based on these requirements, you could easily situate the game’s settings to work on your computer if you meet these requirements, but it might not be the best experience possible.

Here are the Minimum System Requirements for Star Wars Battlefront 2:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
  • Processor (AMD): AMD FX-6350
  • Processor (Intel): Intel Core i5 6600K
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 2GB
  • Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 660 2GB
  • DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
  • Hard-drive space: 15GB

On the other end of the spectrum, there are recommended system requirements, which basically means you’ll be able to run the game on pretty high settings—if not ultra—giving you the best possible experience available. Here are the recommended PC requirements:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10 or later
  • Processor (AMD): AMD FX 8350 Wraith
  • Processor (Intel): Intel Core i7 6700 or equivalent
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon™ RX 480 4GB
  • Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1060 3GB
  • DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
  • Hard-drive space: 15GB

So long as your system meets the minimum system requirements, you should be able to login and play Star Wars Battlefront 2 to some degree. Of course, the closer you are to the recommended PC requirements, the better off your experience will be, so you should always try to be close to those requirements when playing a game.

Thankfully, now is a great time to try out the game, as it will be receiving a beta near the start of October.
