While a few details are still missing from the requirements, Sonic x Shadow Generations isn’t a demanding title at all. The developers haven’t shared the target resolution or framerate, but if you’re looking to play the game at high settings, you’ll need something like a GTX 970 paired with a Ryzen 5 1500X. These are fairly old components at this point, but the game will provide some form of experience even on a GT 730 with just 2 GB of VRAM.

Apart from that, you need 8 GB of RAM, and Windows 10 is the only OS listed. We’ll likely see the storage requirements added in a few weeks or so, but it shouldn’t be that large. According to the Xbox page, the game size is 35 GB, so PC players can expect something similar.

Sonic x Shadow Generations is coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PS4, PS5, and the Nintendo Switch on October 25, 2024.

Overall, it seems like Sonic x Shadow Generations won’t be a problem to run on PC at all, thanks to its low system requirements. Considering how fast these games are in action, we really hope that there aren’t stutters either.
