Should You Turn in Sebastian in Hogwarts Legacy?

What would your house do?

Sebastian’s quest line in Hogwarts Legacy slowly goes from intrigue around the castle to some of the darkest moments in the game due to the conflict in his family. How you choose to act at the end of his quest line can change the narrative and the outcome of Sebastian himself.

Unlike most of the quests in the game, In the Shadow of Fate leads to some final decisions that have genuine consequences for you and the surrounding characters. Keep in mind that this guide will have spoilers for the end of the quest. If you don’t mind, then continue on so you can choose if you turn in Sebastian or not in Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy – Should You Turn in Sebastian?

As the Slytherin companion, we should have guessed that his quest line would go down a dark path. In a bid to try and find cures for his sister, Sebastian will eventually kill his Uncle Solomon using the Unforgivable Curse, Avada Kedavra. Of course, that’s one of the worst things you can do in the Wizarding World.

You and Ominis Gaunt must make a decision after everything is said in done. Will you turn in Sebastian to Hogwarts? If you choose to let him go, the school will never find out and he won’t be kicked out by the Ministry of Magic. Not only will he stick around, but this is the only way to learn all three Unforgivable Curses such as Avada Kedavra, Imperio, and Crucio. I couldn’t let those curses go unlearned, so I may have let him slip through the cracks.

For those of you who don’t feel right letting Sebastian go in Hogwarts Legacy, you can turn him into the Ministry of Magic for murder. He will be expelled from the school and taken away, so you won’t see him later in the game. But this also means you can’t learn all of the curses. If you don’t care, then go right ahead and turn him in. The choice is yours.
