Redeployment Destiny 2 Guide: Getting the Oxygen SR3 Pinnacle Weapon

The Oxygen SR3 Scout Rifle is great; if you get enough precision hits when you’re firing away with it, it’ll have some pretty explosive damage feedback. To actually get the quest that kicks off your weapon acquisition fun, Redeployment, you have to speak to Zavala in The Tower. He’ll have it just floating around in his inventory of Pursuits, and it’s really as easy as nabbing that to start off on the right foot. Now, there’s only one real step for completing the Redeployment Destiny 2 quest: getting The Best Offense triumph. How do you do this? We’re glad you asked, so we’ve broken down its three core components.

Getting 1000 Precision final blows — this is exactly what it says on the tin. You’re going to have to finish off essentially a thousand enemies with Precision killshots. This is generally easy enough when you’re striking an enemy and yellow numbers pop out of them like some sort of numerically-challenged pinata that just keeps on giving. Easy tip from us here is to go for the head.

Getting 500 Orbs — the easiest way to get these is to make sure that you have a Masterwork weapon on hand before you just go to town on a bunch of enemies. These kills will generate your orbs, and so will using your Supers.

Finishing Strikes and Nightfalls — here, this last bit of The Best Offense triumph involves doing as many Nightfalls and Strikes as possible until the quest’s progress bar fills up. We’ve noticed that Nightfalls tend to count for a little more, so we’d keep running the playlists and the Nightfall rotation until this is done. Lucky for you, Nightfalls also have the chance to drop other sick pieces of gear, so it’s not all doom and gloom.

Once you’ve handed in The Best Offense, you’ll have completed the Redeployment Destiny 2 quest and your reward will be the Oxygen SR3 Pinnacle Weapon that you’ve put all your blood, sweat, and tears into. Congratulations! If you need a hand with tidying up the World-Eater quest, our guide on that might be useful.
