RAIDOU Remastered Pre-Order Bonus, Deluxe Edition and System Requirements Detailed

Wait, is this like Persona? /s

ATLUS and SEGA are back with another remaster from the Devil Summoner series, RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. Originally released on the PS2 in 2006, RAIDOU has always been regarded as a cult classic, and it’s finally getting the love it deserves.

RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is now available to pre-order across practically every major current and last-generation platform, and here is everything you need to know about its pre-order bonus content, deluxe edition, and technical details for the PC version.

RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army Pre-Order Bonus

If you pre-order RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army you will receive the Raidou Glasses, a cosmetic item that the main character can equip.

Yes, that’s the only bonus item you’re getting. As far as pre-order bonuses go, I don’t think it’s worth buying the game early for just one cosmetic item that’s the equivalent of a drawn-on mustache.

Thankfully, this isn’t a full-priced title, and the Standard Edition costs $50.

RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army Digital Deluxe Edition

In addition to the Standard Edition, you can also purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition for an extra $15 and get a few more goodies. These include the following:

  • Guest Demons Pack
    • Grants access to six popular demons from the Shin Megami Tensei series.
  • Demons of the Aril Rift
    • Grants access to battles with Special Book rewards, including unique Skills.
  • Kuzunoha Village Trainings
    • Grants access to trials with experience, in-game currency, and stat increase rewards
  • Skill Book Pack
    • Forbidden books that grant special abilities. These included high-tier Skills for Ally Demons.
  • Survival Pack
    • Grants items that help for Battle. This includes Crafting and Revival items.

You’re getting a lot of extra content for $15, including the fancy glasses from before, if you pre-order this edition. However, most of the content described here is a bit vague when it comes to actual utility.

If you really want some extra goodies that might be useful in the early hours, this is worth considering, but I’d save the $15 and get the Standard one. These games are already packed with content, and a lot of these bonuses end up feeling pretty useless as you make some progress.

I always appreciate that the developers at ATLUS mention the target resolution and frame rate with all their recent remasters and PC ports. If you’ve seen any footage of RAIDOU Remastered, you’ll know that it isn’t a demanding game in the slightest. If you choose to play the game at 1080p with a 60 FPS target, you only need a GTX 760 with just 4 GB of VRAM, paired with an ancient i5-6600. I’m positive that the GTX 760 might actually get a few more frames out than 60 FPS, but we’ll have to see.

On the lower side, we’ve been graced with the mention of another decade-old GPU, none other than the R7 250, with a mere 1 GB of VRAM. With this, you can expect 60 FPS at 720p, which is mighty impressive for a game coming out in 2025. Overall, I’m confident that whatever PC you have, RAIDOU Remastered won’t be a problem to run.

RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army Release Date

RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is coming to PC via Steam, Xbox Series S|X, PS4, PS5, and the Nintendo Switch.

It’s great to see ATLUS and SEGA reviving these older franchises with remasters. Hopefully, with enough interest, we might actually get a new entry in the series as well.
