How to Sprint

All of the controls for PUBG Mobile are pretty straightforward. Everything is right there on the screen and has its own little touch button that players can tap and activate. Sprinting doesn’t work like this, though, as there is no button on the screen to give players any indicator of how to sprint. This is because the game detects when you want to sprint by seeing how far you push the joystick up.

When playing PUBG Mobile, you’ll have a virtual joystick on the left-hand side of your screen. Pushing this forward will cause you to move forward. However, holding it forward for a few seconds will activate the game’s sprinting action. If you don’t want to hold down the joystick, you can also push it a little bit further out, which will bring up a set of arrows and a ‘Sprint’ icon that you can slide up to in order to activate springing in PUBG Mobile.

That’s it. Pretty simple right? Don’t forget to pay attention to your surroundings and always keep an eye on the map to make sure you’re within the circle when it grows smaller. We’ll have more PUBG mobile content coming in the next few days, so make sure you check back often to find the most up to date information available in our PUBG guide, where we break down everything you need to know about the mobile and desktop versions of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
