How to Change Your Name

Unfortunately, there isn’t any way to change your name in PUBG right now. The developers have talked about bringing this feature to the game, but as of this moment in time—with the release of the 1.0 update—there is no current name changing mechanic. This means you’ll be stuck with the name that you originally set up, but it’s not all that bad. We’ll be sure to update this section of our guide once the developers introduce a way to change your name.

How to Change Your Appearance

If you somehow made a mistake when setting up your appearance, or you just want a change of pace, then you can also change your appearance in PUBG. This change isn’t free, though, and it will cost you 3000BP to pull off. That’s quite a few matches worth of BP, though, so be prepared to spend a lot of time farming for BP if you want to change your appearance.

Once you’re ready to change your appearance, head to the main menu and locate the Customization tab at the top. From here, click on it and then click on the Appearance tab beneath it. This will allow you to set your character’s gender, as well as choose the face, skin color, hair, and hair color that you want your character to have.

If you want to change your character’s wardrobe, you also have that option and you can click on that to the left of the Appearance tab. Keep in mind that you’ll only be able to equip items that you’ve unlocked, and you can purchase even more items directly from the Steam Community Store. If you’re not sure how to unlock new clothing items and accessories, then be sure to check out our guide on how to get new clothes in PUBG.
