How to find the Psychoscope

In order to find the Psychoscope you’ll need to make your way through the game until you reach Psychotronics, which is accessed through the Talos 1 Lobby. Once inside Psychotronics, head north through the security checkpoint and look for a set of bathrooms on the right-hand side of the area.

There are a couple of enemies inside, so come prepared with plenty of ammunition to draw them out. Once the two enemies have been taken care of, look for a hole in the floor of one of the bathrooms. There are several Mimics down in the area below, so be careful as you slide down the pipes to the floor.

Take care of the Mimics, and then look for a corpse nearby. Next to the corpse is a massive helmet like item. This is the Psychoscope. It’s a vital part of your uniform in Prey, and it will not only allow you to scan Typhon enemies and begin learning new abilities, but it will also allow you to install Psychoscope Chipsets, which will give you various bonuses throughout the game.

Now, all you need to do to start using Typhon-powered Neuromod abilities is to scan Typhon enemies like Mimics, Phantoms, and even Telepaths, or other Typhon organisms. Scanning these enemies will teach you more about them, while also allowing you to unlock new abilities, which will let you do some of the same things that the Typhon do.

Just be careful when you’re installing Neuromods, as installing too many Typhon-based Neuromods will cause the station’s various automated systems to see you as a threat, which could lead to turrets and Operators attacking you on site.
