Pokemon Sword and Shield will be available for players across the world to dive into and enjoy on November 15th. There is no doubt that trainers are excited to pick their starter and make them stronger with all of their evolutions. Fortunately, we have everything currently known about the start evolutions for Sword and Shield covered for you.
Pokemon Sword and Shield Starter Evolutions
The three starters for the new entries in the legendary franchise are Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble. As with previous games, fire, grass, and water are the three types that the starters will be. An official look at the starter evolutions has not been revealed to help keep it a surprise for players. However, a recent set of leaks has given the community at what looks to be an early look at the starter evolutions for all three starters.
One of the first leaks was posted to Reddit and supposedly shows off the first evolution for Sobble and Grookey. An image for the first evolution of Scorbunny was not included with the other two.
A second leak then made its way around the community through a ResetEra thread. This particular leak showed off three images of what is supposedly the final evolutions of the three starter creatures.
We will update this piece with the official look at the stages of the starter characters following the official release of the two titles later this week. I will be having Grookey as my first team member, considering that it will turn into a rockstar drummer who can lead me to victory and be my very best friend.
