The latest new event for Pokemon GO players to experience begun on Friday, August 23rd in the 2019 Water Festival. This new Water Festival event for 2019 has brought an array of original field research tasks players can complete and earn valuable rewards from. Pokemon Go Water Festival Field Research Tasks and Rewards

There are a total of eight field research tasks available for trainers to complete throughout the 2019 Pokemon GO Water Festival event. Players will have until Friday, August 30th to complete these challenges before the conclusion of this particular event occurs. This particular event’s start date arrived on Friday, August 23rd. This start date means trainers now have a week to complete all of the new challenges which have been added into the mobile title to earn all of their rewards.

• Take five snapshots of water-types – Seel Encounter
• Defeat a Team Rocket Grunt – Carvanha Encounter
• Win two raids – TBD
• Hatch five eggs – TBD
• Evolve three Carvanha or Barboach – Clamperl Encounter
• Catch five water-types – Krabby Encounter
• Catch 10 water-types – 1,000 Stardust
• Earn a candy walking with your buddy – Barboach Encounter
