Pokemon GO Hisuian Samurott Raid Day Event Details

It is exciting to see Pokemon from the past region of Hisui making an appearance in Pokemon GO. Whilst Hisuian Samurott is the first, Niantic have stated that we can expect to see more Hisuian Pokemon in the near future. But before that, Hisuian Samurott has its debut with a dedicated Raid Day.

Event Date and Time

The Pokemon GO Raid Day which features Hisuian Samurott will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.

Debut Pokemon

You may have guessed it, but Hisuian Samurott is the debut Pokemon. This is the first time that it will be able to be caught in-game and will be pathing the way for future Hisuian Pokemon. With that said, who knows when Hisuian Samurott will enter Raid rotation again, so it is best to catch it whilst you can by participating in the Raid Day.

Not only is Hisuian Samurott going to debut, but if RNG is on your side, you will potentially encounter its shiny form. Which with its color palette, rather looks like an elderly Hisuian Samurott.

The following Event Bonuses will be live for the duration of the Raid Day.

  • Trainers will have an increased chance to encounter shiny Hisuian Samurott.
  • Spinning Gyms will provide trainers with five additional Raid Passes.
