Pokemon GO May Incense Day Guide

There is always plenty of things for Pokemon GO players to enjoy each month of the year. May 2020 is no different, with there being a plethora of content available for Trainers to partake in when they jump into the popular mobile title. One of the most anticipated events for May will be the new Incense Day, where players will be able to take advantage of the bonuses that are made available to catch some exciting characters. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know about the next Incense Day for Pokemon GO covered for you.

Pokemon GO May Incense Day

Trainers will be able to experience this particular Incense Day on Sunday, May 17th, from 11 AM to 5 PM local time. Dark and Water-type characters will be at the focus of this event, with the most notable one being Carvanha. The reason why is that Incense during this day will attract more Carvanha, with players having the chance to encounter a Shiny Carvanha possible during the event schedule. 

There will also be a 1 PokeCoin bundle that includes three incense will be available during the day for players to take advantage of by obtaining it from the game’s shop. 

 Pokemon GO May Incense Day

Each hour of the GO May Incense Day event schedule will rotate between Dark and Water-type characters. The hours where Water-types are featured will see players have the chance to encounter Horsea, Tympole, Alomomola, and other creatures. Hours where Dark-type creatures Murkrow, Sableye, Scraggy, and others. 

You can find the full schedule for the Pokemon GO May Incense Day below:

  • 11 AM to 12 PM – Water-type
  • 12 PM to 1 PM – Dark-type
  • 1 PM to 2 PM – Water-type
  • 2 PM to 3 PM – Dark-type
  • 3 PM to 4 PM – Water-type
  • 4 PM to 5 PM – Dark-type
