January is here, and with it brings not only a new year but a new Pokémon GO: Timeless Travels Eggs-pedition Access. Like December, trainers will be able to purchase a ticket to participate in Timed Research and event bonuses.
Pokemon GO Eggs-pedition Access: January Event Details
If you participated in December’s Eggs-pedition Access, you’ll know what to expect. Ticketholders will have access to some useful event bonuses, and Timed Research for the whole month of January. The earlier you buy the ticket, the more you will potentially benefit.
Event Date and Time
You can participate in the Egg-spedition Access: January event from Monday, January 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM to Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 8:00 PM local time. However, it is important to note that you will only be able to buy the ticket until January 29, 2024, at 8:00 PM local time. Leaving it that late would have you rushing to complete it, so best buy it earlier if you can!
Event Bonuses
The following bonuses will be active for the duration of the event as long as you have purchased the ticket:
- Spinning your first daily PokeStop will provide trainers with an Incubator (single-use only).
- Trainers will receive 3X XP from their first catch of the day.
- Trainers will receive 3X XP for the first PokeStop spun in a day.
- Trainers will be able to open 50 gifts daily.
- Trainers will be able to obtain 150 gifts from PokeStops and Gyms.
- Trainers will be able to keep 40 gifts in their bag.
Eggs-pedition Access: January Timed Research
For $5 USD or the equivalent in local currency, trainers can purchase the Eggs-pedition Access: January ticket. This will then allow access to the Timed Research, which provides the following rewards:
- Stardust
- XP
- A Togetic encounter
You must complete the timed research before the event ends to obtain all the rewards.
