It’s December and you know what that means? A Community Day filled to the brim with Pokemon featured in Community Days in both 2023 and 2022. If you had missed out on any Community Day events, now is your chance to make up for it in this once-a-year extravaganza.
Pokemon GO December Community Day 2023 All Event Details
It’s here! The biggest Community Day of the year is the reason I don’t feel too bad if I have to miss a Community Day here and there. This December Community Day will see all of 2023’s Pokemon return through wild encounters and Timed Research. The 2023 Pokemon will be in the Egg pool, Raids, and Timed Research. It will be a big one, and you best be prepared to make the most of everything the event has to offer.
Event Date and Time
Because this event is larger than the average Community Day. The December Community Day will be held over a two-day period. From Saturday, December 16, 2023, and Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
Community Day Featured Pokemon
Any Featured Pokemon will appear from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. on both event days. But, for an increased chance at finding their shiny form, participate in the event from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Trainers will have an increased chance of encountering a shiny version of the below Pokemon during their specific time.

Community Day Special Research
For $1 USD or the equivalent in your local currency, you will be able to purchase Community Day Special Research story: December Community Day 2023. Which will reward you with a December Community Day themed story, rewards, and encounters with the Community Day Pokemon of 2023.
Timed Research
During the December Community Day 2023 event, you will be able to complete Timed Research and earn the following rewards.
- King’s Rock
- Magnetic Lure
- 2023 and 2022 Community Day Pokemon encounters
Field Research
When you obtain Field Research during the event period, you will be rewarded with encounters with Pokemon that were featured in any of the 2023 Community Days.
Stickers
All of the stickers from 2023 Community Days will be obtainable. You will be able to obtain them via the following methods.

PokeStop Showcases
During the event period, trainers will be able to locate PokeStop Showcases at certain PokeStops, which will be hosting Showcases that feature various Pokemon featured in 2023 Community Days.
A lot of Pokemon is on offer during December’s Community Day in 2023. With it spanning over a two-day period, there is plenty of time to catch ’em all.
