Pokemon GO: Can You Catch a Shiny Nymble? – Answered

How nimble is Nymble?

Is Shiny Nymble in Pokemon GO?

Pokemon GO introduces Pokemon into the game with seemingly no rhyme or reason. Sometimes, they correlate to a specific period of time, and sometimes they do not. Sometimes they are launched alongside their shiny version and other times the shiny version comes years later. Whether or not that will happen to Nymble is yet to be seen, but as of the time of writing, no you cannot currently obtain shiny Nymble in Pokemon GO.

Nymble is one of the latest introductions to Pokemon, first introduced in Generation IX’s Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This means that unless Nymble is chosen to have its shiny introduced during a special event, such as a Bug-type event or potentially a Rocket event, it will be quite some time before we see Niantic release it in their giant generation sweeps that they have done in the past.

So far, Niantic has had special events for Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and an upcoming Sinnoh event. One of the most exciting things about these events is that Niantic introduces the shiny version for any Pokemon that have yet to have it released in-game. But there are four more generations to go between Sinnoh and Paldea which means it may be years until we see shiny Nymble, which really isn’t very nimble at all.

But shiny Pokemon are always being introduced into Pokemon GO, and there’s plenty of other things to do besides whilst one waits. Such as the Lunar New Year Event in 2024 which introduced Drampa, alongside its shiny variant too!
