If you’re looking for a specific type of Pokemon in Pokemon Go, there are certain general locations you can look to find them. This guide will help you locate each type of Pokemon so you can add them to your Pokedex. Keep in mind, you won’t be able to find every Pokemon in the game just by staying in your immediate area. You will have to venture out of the neighborhood and possibly even out of your city if you wish to catch them all.
We already discussed the fact that some savvy Pokemon Trainers have compiled a few Google Maps with general locations of specific Pokemon. However, not every area has access to such helpful tools. Even the world map doesn’t have Pokemon for every city in the world. In addition, be sure to check out which Pokemon types are weak and strong to other types of Pokemon so you can plan out a gym battle strategy and search for the specific types you need to have the most success.
