Event Date and Time

The Pokemon GO April 2024 Community Day Classic will take place on Sunday, April 7 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.

Featured Pokemon and Attack

April 7 is all about Bagon, a Dragon-type Pokemon. It will appear more frequently in the wild from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and has the chance to be shiny when encountered.

To evolve Bagon into Shelgon, you’ll need 25 Bagon Candy. To evolve Shelgon into Salamence, you’ll need another 100 Bagon Candy. Use plenty of Pinap Berries during the event to stock up on Bagon Candy.

If you evolve Shelgon into Salamence at any time from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM (during the event or up to two hours after it ends) it will know the special Charged Attack Outrage. Outrage is a Dragon-type attack that has 110 power in Gym, raid, and Trainer battles.

The following bonuses will be in effect during the Community Day Classic event:

  • Receive triple (3x) XP for catching Pokemon.
