The video game community has been hit extremely hard by cancelations due to the coronavirus outbreak around the world. Pokemon GO is no exception, as the high-profile title recently revealed that its upcoming Abra Community Day for March 2020 had been postponed. Pokemon GO Abra Community Day Postponed
Niantic has informed Trainers that this particular event has been officially postponed. However, the developer did not reveal a new date for the event or if the event will be rescheduled or not. This means players can only wait to see if this event for the fan-favorite game will be moved to a later date. However, there is a strong chance that Niantic could decide not to reschedule the event and go ahead through March without it having one of the game’s most revered activities take place.
There is no doubt that there are plenty of players who are disappointed to see that the March 2020 Abra Community Day is no longer taking place on its original date. However, the decision is motivated by wanting to make sure everyone is as safe as possible.
