The Pokemon GO Fest 2020 is set to be the biggest event of the year for the famous mobile title. This high-profile event will be accompanied by three weekly challenges that will have a plethora of things for players to enjoy. The Week 3 challenge will also be accompanied by a Summer event for the game that will have its own unique set of content for players to experience. One piece of this Summer-themed content is the debut of Petilil in the game. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know to encounter and catch Petilil covered for you so that you can add this unique character to your team.
Petilil Pokemon GO
Now, Trainers will find that the Summer-themed event will be taking place Friday, July 17th at 8 AM local time to Wednesday, July 22nd at 10 PM local time. It is during this schedule that players will have the opportunity to encounter and catch Petilil. This particular character will appear in the wild when it is sunny outside and will hatch from 5 km eggs.
Players can also get an encounter with Petilil if they complete all three sets of tasks in the Weekly Challenge: Friendship Timed Research which means that there are multiple avenues that players can take to encounter and catch Petilil when they are playing.
