We’ve got the Festival of the Lost in our sights in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, but some things are always constants in a Guardian’s routine. Yes, we’re talking Gambit, and collecting Gambit weapons. If you’re one of the few who absolutely can’t resist the siren song of this mode, we totally understand – the rewards are pretty decent. Here’s how to get the Outlast Destiny 2 weapon in Gambit, and why you might want it.
Outlast Destiny 2 Guide – Weapon Information
If you’re not sure about why you’d want to pick up the Outlast Legendary Pulse Rifle, we’ve broken down its perks for you. Outlast, as the name suggests, wants to keep you in the business of killing. The gun has a Rapid-Fire Frame which means that it gives you more ammo reserves, and reloads are quicker when the mag is empty. It also has Kill Clip – reloading after a kill will give you increased damage.
The weapon deals Solar damage, so it’s going to be a handy addition to have anyway for any quests or endeavors that require you to do damage of that type to a bunch of enemies. It’s also generally just great fun in PVP, and if you’ve got the Counterbalance mod on (quite the draw for pulse rifles) then you’re about to stack up a whole lot of bodies in your wake.
Outlast Destiny 2 Guide – How to Get This Weapon
The easiest way to get your hands on this particular Gambit Prime weapon is to crack into Tier III of Reckoning and the Likeness of Oryx, especially if you want a curated roll on this pulse rifle. Weapons will rotate in and out on fights like the Likeness of Oryx in a two-week long cycle, so keep your eye on the timings for this if you’re diligent at grinding. Otherwise, you can get it from finishing Gambit Prime bounties but, naturally, it’ll be a random roll that you’re chancing. Reckoning will have three curated rolls each week if you’re tracking, but weapons with curated versions in Gambit Prime are constants so it shouldn’t be too hard to get your hands on this Legendary weapon.
Now that you’ve got our tips on how to get the Outlast Destiny 2 Legendary pulse rifle, it’s just a matter of being diligent like all weapon collectors. Need a hand with anything else, Guardian? We’ve got a guide on the Lost Souvenir part of Izanagi’s Burden and what it rewards you with.
