If you’re trying to get caught up on Destiny 2 content and you’re still working through unlocking the various raids, then we’ve got you covered. It’s not easy to pump through all of this content, especially if you’re looking to wrap things up in a neat little package before Shadowkeep drops on October 1. However, luckily for you, there has definitely been an influx of changes in recent Seasons to make content a lot more accessible for those playing catch-up. Check out our On the Comms quest step Destiny 2 guide if you’re wanting to unlock the World-Eater questline.
On the Comms Quest Step Destiny 2 Guide: World-Eater Quest
It used to be quite the mission to pick up the World-Eater questline as part of the Season of Opulence. This was end-game content last year, and the point of doing World-Eater was so you could pick up the Exotic called Legend of Acrius. We would recommend plowing through all the base story content first so that you’ve got a higher chance of being able to engage with the World-Eater quest.
What you have to do to unlock it is to kill Cabal until one of your foes drops On the Comms. This item, when in your inventory, will activate the World-Eater quest for you. It’s as simple as that. Once you’ve got the On the Comms quest step out of the way, you’ll be told to get communication ciphers from Red Legion troops.
To finish this next bit of the quest step, take yourself to Nessus as per the quest item’s instructions. We would recommend going to the Lost Sector if you’re looking to clear out as many enemies as possible, but free-roaming should serve your purposes just fine if you’re not in any particular hurry. Our tip? Double back around The Cistern and do a couple of loops there to get the kills and the ciphers that you need. Five should do the trick, and then all you have to do to cap things off is to crack skulls in the Leviathan raid and come out on the other end smiling.
Now that you’ve got our On the Comms quest step Destiny 2 guide in hand, sorting it all out should be a piece of cake. It’s just a matter of being able to loot the item, which is a random drop, so keep persevering and you’ll be in good hands. Need our help with something else?
