OSRS 2024 Birthday Event Guide

Over the years, the OSRS team has hosted different varieties of events to celebrate the games’ anniversary. This year, the event is much more subdued than previous years. As long as you make your way to the event area during the designated area, you’ll be able to collect birthday holiday items and cake.

Event Period

The OSRS Birthday Event for 2024 is held on the anniversary of the launch of Old School RuneScape, March 22, 2024.

Location

To participate in the OSRS 2024 Birthday Event make your way to the Falador Party Room. This is located on the north-east side of Falador. It’s a large building with a checkerboard appearance.

How to Participate in the OSRS 2024 Birthday Event

Unfortunately, if you are looking for a Birthday Event with some jazz, you won’t find it in OSRS this year. It’s more of an event item buffet as opposed to a fun birthday-themed event. Once you have made your way to the Falador Party Room, you will notice two green tables with numerous items on them. Interacting with them will allow you to obtain all of the previous Birthday Event items.

In between each table, there is a large, green birthday cake. Interacting with it will give you a slice of birthday cake. It’s a delicious novelty, at least!

It may not be the birthday event that people were expecting, of course, it wasn’t going to be 2023 all over again, but it still feels a little empty. One can hope that this is because developers’ attention is currently elsewhere, with new content sailing over the horizon.
