Mindbender’s Ambition Destiny 2 Guide – Getting This Legendary Shotgun

Like the other notable Nightfall pickup that’s been gaining some traction lately, Mindbender’s Ambition is a pretty slick Legendary weapon by all accounts. It’s pretty damn lethal because of its Impact rating, which means that you have a stupidly high chance of blowing an opponent’s head right off so long as you’re in range. You can’t get it anywhere else aside from Nightfall, so you’re going to have to really take a crack at the Hollowed Lair Nightfall strike in particular. 

While Mindbender’s Ambition is sought after because of its close-range killing potential, you’re going to want to ensure that if you do pick it up, that you arm yourself with perks to offset that particular shortcoming. We would recommend going with Accurized Rounds and Rifled Barrel to really drive that point home. 

Now that you know how you’d customize your Legendary auto rifle if you get it, all that remains it to, well, get it. It’s going to be entirely random, as with every other Nightfall drop that corresponds to a particular strike. All you can do is cross your fingers and pray that repeating the Hollowed Lair time and time again is going to get you what you want.
