Money makes the world turn ‘round, and that’s no different when you’re an up and coming crime boss taking on the Dixie Mafia. If you want to take over all the districts, and clear all your enemies out so you can takeover, you’re going to need a lot of firepower. Firepower means ammo, and ammo means wads of fat cash to pay for all those shiny bullets with. In this article we’ll go over the various ways that you can make money in Mafia 3.
How to Make Money with Districts and Rackets
As you make your way through the game’s main storyline, Lincoln will be tasked with taking over different rackets and districts throughout the city. These districts and rackets are then assigned off to one of Lincoln’s three underbosses, who will manage the area, and kick a nice cut of the earned cash up to the big boss. Of course, starting out these guys can’t hold very much, and you’ll need to put in a little work to increase their earnings, which will in turn increase your own incoming cash. You can increase the earnings in each district by completing optional side missions given to you by the associates of each of your Underbosses. For example, Cassandra will ask you to run a few shipments out in the Bayou. These missions are simple, and they add a good bit of value to each district, so be sure to check them out and complete them.
Rob Businesses to Make Money
Another easy way to make money is to travel around New Bordeaux robbing the various business and establishments set up around the city. There are several areas where you can find liquor stores, bars, hotels, and other businesses that offer up small amounts of cash that Lincoln can easily pocket. Some of these businesses will also have bags of cash hidden in them, so don’t be afraid to explore and see what you find throughout the different districts of New Bordeaux.
Clear out Enemies
Marcano’s mean are scattered all throughout New Bordeaux, just waiting for the right chance to pull one over on Lincoln and his people. Don’t let them get away with this, though. Make sure you clear out any enemies you see as you explore the city. They’ll often drop weapons, ammunition, and even stacks of cash that you can pick up by simply running over it. It isn’t the most efficient way to earn cash in the city, but it is one of the most entertaining.
Those are the basic ways of earning cash in Mafia 3. There aren’t many ways to do it, and gaining new rackets and districts will be your best bet by far. Just keep playing through the game’s story, make sure you clear out all the missions associated with each racket you flip, and you’ll be earning mad stacks of cash pretty quickly. If you followed this guide, you’ll now know exactly all the ways you can earn cash and make money in Mafia 3.
