When you reach the Dueling Peaks Stable just east of the Dueling Peaks are on your map, head inside and speak with Domidak and Prissen twice. The pair will ask for 100 rupees to learn about Misko, the Great Bandit and her hidden treasure. To find the treasure you do not need to pay the 100 rupees, but if you want the clue and the side quest listed in your adventure log, you’ll have to pay up.
The pair will give you the clue, “The little twin steps over the little river. My cave rests above that river’s source.” Whether you opt to pay for the clue or not, head southeast from the stable and make your way toward the Hickaly Woods. Running along the west side of the woods there’s a river, and at the south end of the river is a waterfall.
You need to climb up the cliff where the waterfall is, but before you do, stop at the small patch of land just before the falls and lift up the rock to find a Korok. Doing this will give you a seed needed for the maracas quest that you’ll start very soon. Once you have the seed, climb up the cliff near the waterfall to find a portion of the cliff that can be removed with a bomb blast.
Use the Remote Bomb tool in your Sheikah Slate to clear the rocks, then head inside the cave to find a treasure trove! Break the barrels to the right of the entrance to find two Seared Steaks, and there’s also a Soldier’s Spear on the ground near the barrels. The two chests on this side of the cave hold an Opal and an Amber, with two Toasted Hearty Truffles on the ground between the chests.
The chest closer to the middle of the cave holds a Sapphire, and the two chests on the far side contain another Sapphire and a Luminous Stone. You can also use another Remote Bomb on the wall behind these two chests to reveal one final chest that holds a Flameblade weapon (Attack 24).
Along the way to the treasure cave is the hidden Toto Sah shrine. You can find the location of it and much more in our Zelda: Breath of the Wild game hub!
