The EA FC 24 TOTS Foundations 81×100 Pack is now available in Ultimate Team. It was released on the opening night of the Team of the Season promo and has boosted the chance for special items. However, the pack costs significantly more than standard options, and let’s find out if it’s worth a purchase at all.

The total number of available rewards is an important factor to consider, especially when players are already spending a significant amount of coins. This special pack, as its name suggests, offers 100 different cards. All 100 of them are Rare Gold items that have an overall of 81 or higher.

The pack odds determine the chances of obtaining a specific type of card. Even if a pack could offer a promo card but the odds are really low, it’s unlikely that players will eventually get a special card by opening the pack.

The EA FC 24 TOTS Foundations 81×100 Pack doesn’t guarantee a Team of the Season card. In that sense, the Premium Live TOTS Guarantee Pack is a far better choice. Yes, the Foundations 81×100 Pack costs 300,000 coins, which is 150,000 coins cheaper than the Premium Live TOTS Guarantee Pack. The latter also offers a 52 Rare Gold Players Pack.
However, the more expensive option also guarantees at least three walkouts, along with at least two Live TOTS cards. Moreover, all the cards offered in that pack are rated 83 or higher (compared to 81-rated items from the 81×100).
Ideally, this is a better choice if you either don’t have 450,000 coins or you need a lot of fodder for upcoming SBCs. Do note that a lot of Live TOTS items have also dropped in their market valuations, but they could rise in the future since they’re all eligible for up to two upgrades soon.
