Is Fortnite Fixing The Goku & Vegeta Skins? – Answered

Vegeta is passable, but Goku is unforgivable.

While there have been plenty of Anime and Manga collabs in Fortnite, none look quite as off from their source material as the original Goku and Vegeta skins. Are there any plans to update their models, or will players be stuck with these versions forever?

Will Epic Fix Goku and Vegeta Skins in Fortnite?

Tweet via @XTigerHyperX2 on X (formerly known as Twitter)

While the initial hype for Goku and Vegeta was unbeatable, seeing their skins in-game made players feel some sort of way. Sure, they looked close enough, but there has just been something off about them since their introduction. As it stands, however, there is no official word on a redesign for these particular characters, even though they are in drastic need of one.

Since their introduction, plenty of other Dragon Ball characters have made their way into the Fortnite shop, with villains such as Frieza and Cell releasing on December 24, 2023. What makes them different, however, is they look nearly perfect, with great proportions and accurate styles to the Anime that they had come from. Even the Goku Black skin features a completely different Goku model and looks miles better than the original Son Goku skin in the shop.

As Reddit user u/SomeCallMeDora showcases in their redesign, there are plenty of things that could be done to make Son Goku look more like his original self, and while Vegeta isn’t as bad, he’s a free headshot for anyone who decides to play against him. Since these skins do cost a pretty penny, we can only hope that Epic takes note of the Goku Black model and applies some cosmetic magic to the original Dragon Ball duo for fans to use proudly.
