It might be the TOTS season, but EA FC 24 players have had the misfortune of unexpectedly interrupting their gaming sessions. Several community members have reported that their gameplay needs to be fixed as intended. Such is the extent of the issues that EA Sports has officially confirmed they’re investigating in the matter.
Why is EA FC 24 Suffering Instabilities?
The game becomes unavailable when the servers are taken down for scheduled maintenance. However, no such maintenance is planned, and today’s reason for the instabilities is a rather unknown cause. Although EA Sports has confirmed that there are issues, they haven’t stated what’s causing them in the first place.
One major reason could be the number of players signed into Ultimate Team. There have been incidents in the past when players have been unable to play the game normally during Team of the Year celebrations. The main issue at that time was simply caused by the server’s inability to simultaneously handle the number of live players active.
Incidentally, there hasn’t been any recent patch update. An impending update can sometimes break the code and prevent the game from its normal functioning. Unfortunately for the players, EA Sports hasn’t stated when things will return to normal.
It also appears that the issues are not the same worldwide. Players in certain regions have been able to enjoy all the content normally, but others have yet to have the same fortune. Several members have reported that their Champions Finals matches have been affected badly, and some of them have even ended up getting losses.
Till EA Sports acknowledges that the server issues have been resolved, it’s best to refrain from playing Ultimate Team, as there can be accidental losses. Some of the matches could be declared a loss due to the instabilities. If players want to play, it’s best to enjoy the offline modes like Career Mode and Exhibition in the meantime.Â
