How to Unlock the Minstrel’s Ballad: The Endsinger’s Aria Extreme in FFXIV & Gear Up Fast

First up you’ll need to have completed the Endwalker main scenario quests before unlocking the Extreme version. After you’ve done that you’ll need to head over to Old Sharlayan and talk to the Wandering Minstrel there. You can find him at (X:12.7, Y:14.2).

After talking to him select the “Talk about the Endsinger” option to recount the tales of your adventures. After a small cutscene, you’ll unlock the Extreme version of this trial.

Before hopping into this very difficult endgame content you’ll need to make sure you have at least an ilvl of 580. That’s the required level to be able to join in on the content.

If you’re not geared up for the content there are plenty of ways to gear up. First off if you have the Gil to spend check out the Marketbaord in any major city to find the Classical gear selling at the 580 ilvl. If you don’t have the Gil you can run the Pandaemonium raid series to get a few drops, the easiest ones being your accessories since they only need one material to obtain.

You can also run some Duty Roulettes to get some Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy which can be traded in at the vendor in Radz-at-Han (X:10.8, Y:10.3) for some 580 gear.
