How to Unlock the Locked Door in Cropper’s Quarter in Dragon’s Dogma 2

A secret entrance, perchance?

Honestly, this one stumped me for a long time before I started scouring the landscape surrounding the cabin. But here’s how to unlock the locked door in Cropper’s Quarter in Dragon’s Dogma 2!

How to Unlock the Door in Cropper’s Quarter

As you travel to Vernworth, you’ll pass idyllic farmland with fields of wheat and a handful of cabins and homes made of stone. One of the first you pass, just across the bridge to the northeast, is locked up tight, however. If you circle around, you can look through the window to see a wooden bar blocking the door.

To get inside, head back to the bridge just to the north of the cabin, then jump down to the riverbank on the house’s side of the river. There, you’ll see a tunnel leading into the land.

Be wary, however! Inside, you’ll fight Leapworms, Dragon’s Dogma 2’s answer to leeches, and a few bandits skulking in the darkness. But ahead, through to the very end of the tunnel, you’ll find a ladder. Climb up the ladder, and you’ll enter the house proper.

Once inside, you can shoot or slash the wooden barricade to open the door once and for all!

Is There Loot Inside the Cropper’s Quarter House?

You’ll find a single chest inside the small, barely stable house. I’m not sure if the loot is randomized, but I received five Silver Ore.

Other than that, I found nothing useful within the house. But hey, Silver Ore is a crucial ingredient to upgrade your weapons and armor, depending on your type, and it’s helpful to have a handful without delving into an abandoned mine full of goblins!

While we’re delving into the darkest corners of the game, let’s stop pretending microtransactions in Dragon’s Dogma 2 are fine!
