Meeting new characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley is always a fun experience, especially if it is one of your favorites or someone you have been looking forward to seeing for a long time. Here’s how to unlock Jack Skellington the Pumpkin King in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Unlock Jack Skellington in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Unlocking Jack Skellington requires collecting four Matryoshka dolls you use at a brown tree in the Forgotten Lands. Upon adding all four dolls, Jack Skellington will immediately appear at the Plaza’s wishing well for you to take a picture with and talk to.

Like most characters, he also has a series of friendship quests you can unlock and complete for rewards. These quests range from collecting resources like dark wood to speaking to villagers after he pulled a few pranks. As you progress further in his quest line, you’ll have to meet friendship level requirements with other characters, so keep an eye on this in your mission log if you plan on raising him to max friendship immediately.

Matryoshka Doll Locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Matryoshka doll locations are random, meaning their exact spawn spots will differ from person to person. However, there are some key tips you can use to make finding them easier:

• Temporarily remove your furniture to make it easier to spot the dolls.
• Keep an eye on the ground. They’re not buried in the dirt but are small objects that are difficult to spot.
• Search areas like the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow first, as you’ll likely find your first two or three in these locations.

While looking for the Matryoshka dolls, I found two in the Plaza, one in the Peaceful Meadow, and one in the Glade of Trust. However, you may find a doll or two in locations like Sunlit Plateau or Frosted Heights instead. Early-game areas are your safest bet, but don’t be afraid to take a quick look around others, too.

Once you collect four Matryoshka dolls, head to the Forgotten Lands and use them on the tall brown tree. With each doll, new decorations will appear, with Jack Skellington appearing after you place the fourth.

Now that he has arrived in Dreamlight Valley, you can snap pictures with him, build a house wherever you wish, and begin his friendship quests to get rewards.
