How to Unlock Forged Camo in MW3

Camo grinding is a Call of Duty pastime. This is no different with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. So here’s how to get the Forged Camo in MW3.

How to Get Forged Camo in Modern Warfare 3

To obtain the Forged Camo in Modern Warfare 3, you’ll need to complete quite a few different challenges.

First off, you’ll need to complete the Gilded Camo challenges to unlock the Forged Camo. To obtain the Gilded camo, you’ll need to complete the base camo challenges on a single weapon. These vary depending on the base weapon you’re using, so, for instance, your submachine gun challenges will be different than your assault rifle, and so on.

To obtain the Forged Camo, you will also need to get the gilded Camo on six weapons in the same weapon class. So, if you want the Forged Camo on your SMGs, you’ll need to obtain Gilded on six different SMG weapons. This is going to be a long grind.

When viewing each of these weapons in the Gunsmith, you’ll see the following requirements listed below. Please note that each weapon will have a unique third challenge that will change based on which weapon in the subcategory you’re using.

Assault Rifles

• Complete Gilded Camo Challenge 0/1
• Complete 6 Gilded Camo Challenges With Assault Rifles 0/6
• A third rotating challenge based on each weapon

Submachine Guns

• Complete Gilded Camo Challenge 0/1
• Complete 6 Gilded Camo Challenges with SMGs 0/6
• A third rotating challenge based on each weapon

Shotguns

• Complete Gilded Camo Challenge 0/1
• Complete 3 Gilded Camo Challenges with Shotguns 0/3
• A third rotating challenge based on each weapon

LMGs

• Complete Gilded Camo Challenge 0/1
• Complete 4 Gilded Camo Challenges With LMGs 0/4
• A third rotating challenge based on each weapon

Battle Rifles

• Complete Gilded Camo Challenge 0/1
• Complete 3 Gilded Challenges With battle Rifles 0/3
• A third rotating challenge based on each weapon

Marksman Rifles

• Complete Gilded Camo Challenge 0/1
• Complete 4 Gilded Camo Challenges with Marksman Rifles
