How to Get Cosmetics in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

You will receive cosmetics in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora in numerous ways, including quest rewards from unique characters you meet. Furthermore, it appears that each time you pick up a new weapon with a distinctive appearance, you unlock its visuals like a transmog system from your favorite role-playing games.

When you speak with vendors, you’ll also note they have a ‘Designs’ section beside their available items. These designs are generally free, but you must craft the item first to unlock it later. Most have a unique appearance to enjoy.

Additionally, if you have reward points through Ubisoft Connect, you can unlock additional cosmetics, such as a character set, trinket, weapon pattern, and paint scheme. These are free, as you can reward points by completing in-game challenges.

And lastly, there is, unfortunately, and of course, the in-game cosmetic store. It’s another single-player game with microtransactions.

How to Craft Cosmetics in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

It isn’t super obvious, especially if you’re not paying attention, but the transmog system in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora does require resources. While under the ‘Visuals’ section of the cosmetic menu, which becomes available when you select a specific weapon or armor piece, you’ll note another section that says ‘Material and Tint’ in the bottom right-hand corner. These usually include a tint and a root resource, which you’ll come across naturally during exploration and questing.

With the necessary resources and unique visuals unlocked, select the visual or cosmetic you like, then hit the spacebar to activate it on your weapon or armor. It’s simple!

Once you’re done setting up your cosmetics, learn all about the game’s crossplay compatibility.
