How to Take Screenshots in Battle.net Launcher

Say cheese

What’s the first thing you should do after getting that perfect Legendary drop? Take a screenshot to brag about it, of course! But is there a special key to save it immediately, or do you have to paste it somewhere before doing it? Let’s take a look at how you can manage your screenshots for any of the Battle.net launcher games.

How to Save Screenshots in Battle.net Games

You can take a screenshot in all Activision-Blizzard Games by pressing Print Screen (PrtScr) on your keyboard, and they’ll be automatically saved in a pre-existing folder. For Diablo IV, for example, you can find them in:

C:\Documents\Diablo IV\Screenshot

Here you’ll find all recordings you got from the Sanctuary from the moment you first installed the game. These are not deleted even if you uninstall the game, and have to be removed manually if you wish to do so.

The Print Screen key is universal in all of their games and cannot be remapped. Various other Battle.net games will also have their dedicated screenshot folders on Documents, working just like they do for Diablo.

Hearthstone is the odd kid as it saves screenshots directly on your Desktop, but you can change its destination (as well as the destination of all other games’ screenshots) within the own game’s Settings.

Some other games will have their screenshot folder hidden inside their default installation directory, such as:

C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\WorldofWarcraft\_retail

Look for your desired game (such as Overwatch, StarCraft II, and others) and you’ll eventually find their saved screenshots. No need to open Photoshop, MS Paint, or anything to save them!

And that’s pretty much it for how to save and find your screenshots in any of the Battle.net games. We hope that you won’t face any problems when starting the games, but we got some solutions for you if you do.
