How to Start the Epilogue for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Indigo Disk

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Epilogue follows on the tail of your adventure at Blueberry Academy. But there’s no clear signpost on what you’ll need to do to kick this epilogue off. Fortunately, you won’t have to jump through many hoops.

First, to start the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet epilogue, you’ll need to have cleared the postgame Pokemon Academy tournament and the Indigo Disk campaign. So, if you’ve defeated the Elite Four in the main campaign and then defeated all your friends in the Academy, and also captured or defeated a certain Stellar legendary, you should be set.

To start the epilogue for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll need to:

  • Check your Mystery Gifts. Remember, you’ll need to be online to see them.
  • Claim the “Mythical Pecha Berry Gift.” So far, this is the only Mystery Gift that doesn’t have an expiration date, so don’t worry if you can’t claim it immediately.
  • Head to Mossui Town in Katakami.
  • Go to the item shop beside the community center.
  • Interact with the round pink item beside the old woman on the counter.

You’ll get a Rotom call from an old friend. But when you turn back around to look at the sweet-smelling item… it’s nowhere to be found! And thus starts The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Epilogue Mochi Mayhem.

This epilogue will take most trainers around an hour to complete. But don’t worry, there’s still a few new additions in the Blueberry Academy after you hit the end credits.
