How to Start the Architect Puzzle Side Quest in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
You’ll get the official architect puzzle side quest in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown directly from The Architect herself, Maryam, late into the game. You’ll find her in one of the westernmost chambers deep into the Upper City, and you’ll need the Fabric of Time ability to reach her, one of the last abilities you’ll receive.
However, it’s important to note that you can complete many of the architect puzzles well before you meet Maryam and start her side quest. These architect puzzles are usually indicated by a small rectangular platform on the ground (where a treasure chest appears upon completion), and you’ll be able to complete them at any time as long as you’ve unlocked any abilities necessary to interact with the puzzle.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown – All Nine Architect’s Treasure Puzzle Solutions
The nine architect puzzles in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown are scattered around in various areas of the game. Once encountered and solved, a marker will be added to your map, indicated by a strange symbol with a number attached. These are your clues in gaining access to The Architect’s secret room. Let’s go over each architect’s treasure puzzle below.
1) Lower City Architect’s Treasure Puzzle
To solve the Lower City architect treasure puzzle, stand between the two statues with arrows drawn and shoot your own arrow at the spot the statues are aiming at.

3) Sacred Archives Architect’s Treasure Puzzle
To solve the Sacred Archives architect treasure puzzle, stand in the empty glowing spot in between the Mad Alchemists and crouch, which mimics the sculpted art above.

4) Tower of Silence Architect’s Treasure Puzzle
To solve the Tower of Silence architect treasure puzzle, stand in a position so that the broken monument appears complete, then throw your Chakram in the middle circular area.
Reward: Soma Tree Petal
5) Pit of Eternal Sands Architect’s Treasure Puzzle
To solve the Pit of Eternal Sands architect treasure puzzle, you must throw a specific enemy onto the platform to be crushed by the two smashing blocks using Sargon’s Dimensional Claw ability. The desired enemy is the living statues seen in the background and can be obtained in Upper City.
The enemies are located just under the Wak-Wak Tree west of The Clockwork fast-travel statue in Upper City. Capture one of them with Dimensional Claw, then fast-travel back to Sentinel’s Road in the Pit of Eternal Sands. Throw the enemy onto the trapped platform to reveal the chest.
Reward: Soma Tree Petal
6) Sunken Harbor Architect’s Treasure Puzzle
To solve the Sunken Harbor architect treasure puzzle, finish the tic-tac-toe game by throwing your Chakram into the upper-left tile.
Reward: Ard’s Fortune (Amulet)
7) Soma Tree Architect’s Treasure Puzzle
To solve the Soma Tree architect treasure puzzle, place the three statues on their respective platforms and interact with them to rotate them in the correct directions.
- Left platform: Large statue facing east.
- Middle platform: Medium statue facing east.
- Right platform: Small statue facing west.
Start by dropping below the puzzle room to find the Medium statue. Grab it with Dimension Claw and throw it onto the wooden platform above the right side of the room. It can be retrieved back in the puzzle room.
Then, grab the Large statue from the small area above the puzzle room with Dimensional Claw, and take it back to the main room.
Reward: Azure Damascus Ingot
8) The Depths Architect’s Puzzle
To solve The Depths architect treasure puzzle, you must provide light to both plaques on the wall at the same time. Use the Shadow of the Simurgh ability to create a copy of Sargon in front of one of the plaques, then jump in front of the other plaque.

To solve the Sacred Archives architect treasure puzzle, you must activate the five correct blocks in a short period. Using Shadow of the Simurgh, place a copy of Sargon in front of the bottom-middle block, then jump from the right side using the wooden platforms to fall from the upper-right block. Air dash to the left to activate the middle row, then warp back to your clone to activate the last block.
