It’s dangerous out there in the ultra-fast-paced world of Tribes 3: Rivals, and you’re bound to be blindsided by a disc or two when you least expect it. Without passive health regeneration in the game, you may be wondering how to survive after a tough fight. Here’s how to regain health in Tribes 3: Rivals.
How to Heal in Tribes 3: Rivals
As stated above, there is no passive health regeneration in Tribes 3: Rivals, so the only way to regain your health is by picking up a health nugget from a downed player or recalling to base. Either method will replenish your health back to 100% and quickly prepare you to jump right back into the fray.
How to Get Health Nuggets
When a player is eliminated, they’ll drop a glowing orb on the ground that can be picked up by other players. Walking, running, or zooming over them while skiing will automatically pick them up and begin replenishing your health. Although it isn’t immediate, your health will fully regenerate after a few seconds.
However, with players zipping and zapping at high speeds, health nuggets won’t always be readily available to pick up. Thankfully, there’s a backup plan in those dire moments.
How to Recall Back to Spawn
At any moment, you can choose to recall back to your team’s spawn point to regain health. By default, the keybind for recalling is B. Recalling takes approximately five seconds, but will immediately replenish your health to full once complete.
All Classes Health Values in Tribes 3: Rivals
Tribes 3: Rivals has three different armor types to choose from, with each type containing two ‘perks’ for various playstyles. Naturally, light armor loadouts will have the least amount of health, while heavy armor loadouts are beefier and harder to destroy.
Here are the health pools for each armor type:
- Light Armor: 1000 hit points.
- Medium Armor: 1500 hit points.
- Heavy Armor: 2250 hit points.
