What better way to express emotion than to emote in games? While Lethal Company may not have dozens to choose from, you can still enjoy what’s available, especially if you want a four-person dance party.

Here’s how to perform every emote in Lethal Company.

How to Use Emotes in Lethal Company – All Emotes Listed

Lethal Company currently has two emotes you can use, point and dance, which you can activate by pressing 1 and 2 on your keyboard. Pressing these keys activates each emote instantly, which you can interrupt by moving or using objects if needed. Otherwise, you can keep pointing and dancing as long as you’d like, as the animations loop infinitely.

Only two emotes are available as of Lethal Company’s early access period. However, although not guaranteed, this may change in the future, especially once the game is fully released.

Emoting in Lethal Company has no gameplay benefits or perks. Instead, they’re a fun way to have fun with friends, especially if you buy a boombox or want to have fun pointing at things. Despite this, there can be some niche situations where you can convey information with emotes, particularly if you need to be quiet around eyeless dogs. Pointing at your ship’s screen, an item, or another person can help you silently communicate your intentions until the dog passes or you leave the moon.

Outside this, they’re mainly a way to have fun between getting scared by monsters. Any emotes added in future updates may serve purposes like pointing, but for the most part, you’ll primarily use them for entertainment and laughs.
