How You Can Pass Time in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

To pass the time in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, stop by any hunting camp or haven and locate the campfire near the center of the space. It’s usually a cooking campfire with a few Na’vi milling about, and you can walk up and hold down the corresponding action button to sit and rest for a short period.

Unfortunately, you cannot choose how long to rest. The game will fade to a black screen, and then time will advance by a few hours. If it’s nighttime and you want to wait until morning, you may need to rest once or twice before hitting the correct time.

I had to rest at least twice to make it through a single night.

Why You Should Pass Time in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

You may wish to pass the time in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora for numerous reasons. For instance, you may find that hunting predators and other fauna is better at nighttime. The same may go for a full-blown stealth assault on a nearby outpost. But the night in Frontiers of Pandora is often ugly and muddy, making navigating the gorgeous world troublesome.

I honestly spent most of my time in the daylight. There, I could acquire a clear shot with my longbow on most targets, and I could see my surroundings as I sped through the forests on foot.

That said, some resources are only available at night or during a rainstorm when it’s dark out, and others rely on darkness to flourish. As such, if you want perfect crafting materials, spend a little time in the dark, too.

While relaxing at a hunting camp, why not learn how to increase clan favor with the Aranahe?
