There are currently three possible methods you may use to create Philosophy. To make Philosophy, you can use any of the following combinations:

  • Human + Idea
  • Human + Story
  • Egg + Chicken

Since you do not immediately start with these items, you’ll have to merge various objects and advance through the game before gaining the opportunity to create Philosophy. Below is a complete list of each possible item and how to unlock them:

If you’re looking to create a Human, follow these steps:

  • Earth + Water = Mud
  • Earth + Fire = Lava
  • Air + Lava = Stone
  • Stone + Mud = Clay
  • Fire + Fire = Energy
  • Water + Water = Puddle
  • Puddle + Puddle = Pond
  • Pond + Pond = Lake
  • Lake + Lake = Sea
  • Sea + Earth = Primordial Soul
  • Primordial Soup + Energy = Life
  • Life + Clay = Human

If you want to create an Idea, use the steps below:

  • Use the list above to create a Human
  • Stone + Air = Sand
  • Sand + Fire = Glass
  • Earth + Earth = Land
  • Earth + Land = Continent
  • Continent + Continent = Planet
  • Planet + Fire = Sun
  • Fire + Fire = Energy
  • Sun + Energy = Solar Cell
  • Solar Cell + Sun = Electricity
  • Electricity + Glass = Light Bulb
  • Light Bulb + Human = Idea

Merge the Human and Idea items to create Philosophy. Alternatively, if you’d like to make the Story item instead of Idea, follow these steps:

  • Use the list above to create a Human and a Planet
  • Planet + Air = Atmosphere
  • Water + Atmosphere = Cloud
  • Fire + Fire = Energy
  • Cloud + Energy = Lightning
  • Human + Lightning = Hero
  • Human + Hero = Story
  • Human + Story = Philosophy

If you’d instead like to go the Chicken and Egg route, here is the process for creating an Egg:

  • Use the steps above to create the Life item
  • Life + Land = Animal
  • Animal + Air = Bird
  • Bird + Bird = Egg

Lastly, below is the steps for creating a Chicken:

  • Create a Bird using the steps above
  • Earth + Water = Mud
  • Earth + Fire = Lava
  • Air + Lava = Stone
  • Stone + Fire = Metal
  • Earth + Metal = Plow
  • Plow + Earth= Field
  • Water + Earth = Mud
  • Mud + Fire = Brick
  • Brick + Brick = Wall
  • Wall + Wall = House
  • House + Field = Barn
  • Bird + Barn = Chicken

Once you have created the Chicken and the Egg, merge the two to create Philosophy.
