How to Install and Remove Mods in Factorio 2.0

To install mods, go to the Explore tab in the mods window and look up all the available mods uploaded by the community. You must also look at the “Factorio version” on each mod, as some mods may still show up but aren’t updated to the latest version, which may cause some dependency issues when installed.

Once you have selected a mod, look to the upper-right corner of the Mods window and click on the “Install” button. It’ll download and install the mod automatically. You can browse through and install more mods if you want.

After you are done installing all the mods, press “confirm” on the lower-right corner of the mods window. This will restart Factorio and load up all the needed assets, including the added mods. You’ll be brought back to the main menu with the mods automatically installed.

If you want to remove some mods, you can go to the mods window again from the main menu. Go to the “Manage” tab and you’ll see all your installed mods. You can either untick the box next to the mod or delete it by clicking the trash bin icon on the upper-right corner of the window.

Once you have all your desired mods ready, you can start a game or load a previous save file. The mods should work on loaded save files even if you started a game without certain mods.

Here are some of the best mods for Factorio 2.0 if you have trouble finding the one you need.
