How to Increase Your Inventory Space in Creatures of Ava

Get those bag spaces up.

If you are an explorer-type player in action-adventure games, you’ll encounter some inventory problems in Creatures of Ava. Your inventory space is so small that if you don’t craft or use consumables, your bag will always be full. If you look at your skill tree, you’ll see the backpack pouch upgrade. What’s confusing is that these upgrades are in the skill tree, but they don’t use skill points to upgrade. You need Backpack Pockets, which upgrade your inventory space. Here’s a guide about how to increase your inventory space and get those Backpack Pockets in Creatures of Ava.

How to Increase Inventory Capacity in Creatures of Ava

Your bags or inventory start with a measly 16-slot capacity. Every type of plant and consumable you pick up takes up a slot, and potions take up two slots. In short, you are always full if you pick up everything in the open world. If you go to the skill tree, you can see the Extra Backpack Pouch “upgrade” under the attributes tab.

You can use skill points to upgrade nodes in the skill tree, but if you read the description for each of these nodes under attributes, you will see that they require a different resource to upgrade. To upgrade your inventory slot, you need Backpack Pockets. Acquiring two Backpack Pockets increases your inventory by four slots, and the next upgrade requires four Backpack Pockets to increase it by another four slots.

How to Find Backpack Pockets in Creatures of Ava

Most of the Backpack Pocket spawns are either close to the main quest or close to a side quest. The first one you can find is by going through the waterfall in Cascade of Joy, north of the Arsira Village. Once you go through the waterfall, you’ll see a shiny item, the Backpack Pocket, on the supplies. There’s a side quest that also leads you to this area after finishing the main quests in the biome.

The next Backpack Pocket is in the Through Stone, We Teach main quest, where you have to go to the Weeping Rock and solve some puzzles. To get the Backpack Pocket here, you need to unlock the Krist and open a Witheredblossom near the infected Huhus with your Nafitar in the Weeping Rock. It unlocks a small area with a bunch of supplies scattered, along with the Backpack Pocket.

The Kirst unlocks during the quest, so you should read our Through Stone, We Teach main quest for the puzzle solutions.
