How to Get Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyurem in Pokemon GO

Reshiram will be appearing on 5-star raids from December 1 to December 9. Zekrom will do so from December 10 to 16, and Kyurem from December 16 to 23, also in 5-star raids.

To catch Reshiram, keep in mind that it is a Dragon/Fire type, and therefore it is weak to Dragon, Ground, and Rock-type attacks. It will likely appear with a Combat Power (CP) of 2217 – 2307.

Zekrom is a Dragon/Electric type that has the same weaknesses as Reshiram, plus one more: the Fairy type. Its CP would be the same as Reshiram’s.

As for Kyurem, the weakness to Ice is replaced by a weakness to Fighting.

One important thing to highlight is that, for the first time, Reshiram can be Shiny. Zekrom and Kyurem’s Shiny forms were already available, so you still might get those, too!

Remember that 5-star raid battles are anything but easy, so the best way to win them is by taking at least another three trainers to battle with you. If you have your raid group set, it’s a good idea to plan ahead with them to tackle the Pokémon’s weaknesses.

Take plenty of items, too (just in case it’s shiny), like Razz Berries. Hone your curve-ball throwing skills, to make the best of the Premier Balls you will get. And, while focusing on offensive attacks is better, don’t overlook the type of Pokémon that are weak to Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyurem’s types. A Grass-type Pokémon, for example, would be a terrible idea.
