This is the first major camo that has been added to the game in a casual setting that players can unlock as a challenge reward. Ranked Play has one as well, but it’ll take plenty of wins to earn. In our MW2 and Warzone 2 guide, find out how you can unlock the Winds of Ash camo in the normal playlists.

COD MW2 & Warzone 2 – How to Get the Winds of Ash Camo

The new camo is tied to the Path of the Ronin challenges that are tied to the seasonal theme. At the start of Season 2, the Path of the Ronin had seven challenges that eventually unlocked the Crossbow. In Season 2 Reloaded, there is a part two for the Ronin challenges that lead to the final camo.

Each weapon class will have its own challenge, and upon completion, the Winds of Ash camo can be used for that class. You’ll need to complete 10 different challenges to unlock the new camo across all of COD MW2 and Warzone 2. Below you can find all 10 challenges.

Path of the Ronin Winds of Ash Camo Challenges:

  • Assault Rifles: Get 125 headshots (eliminations)
  • Battle Rifles: Get 75 headshots
  • Submachine Guns: Get 100 headshots
  • Light Machine Guns: Get 75 headshots
  • Shotguns: Get 50 headshots
  • Marksman Rifles: Get 50 headshots
  • Sniper Rifles: Get 50 headshots
  • Handguns: Get 30 headshots
  • Melee: Get 30 kills from behind
  • Launcher: Get 40 kills

You’ll have from March 15 to mid-April to complete all of these challenges. This event will likely be a limited time addition to MW2 and Warzone 2, so it’s best to get started on the grind if you have the time.
