How to Get Wheat in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur

Path of Exile’s 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur league brings a new city-building feature to the game, which introduces various new resources for base-building purposes. For farming plots, Wheat is one of the most basic resources and you’re going to need thousands of them. Here’s how to get Wheat in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur.

How to Farm Wheat in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur

As mentioned before, Wheat is the most basic farming resource in Kingsmarch, which means it is the first crop you’ll grow in the game. To get Wheat, you need to reach rank 2 in Recruitment. It is right after getting your first Orichalcum Ore from your mining area.

After reaching rank 2 in Recruitment, go north of the town hall and look for Sonja, the Farmer. There’s a construction hammer next to her, and you just have to click it. You only need 45 gold to set up your first three farming plots. Once you have established your farming area, go to one of the three farming plots and interact with it. Choose Wheat, and that specific plot will be set for growing Wheat.

Now, you workers that specialize in farming. Go to the town hall and talk to Raulf. Try to recruit some workers that specialize in farming and if you can’t find one, you can reroll. Once you hired some workers, go back to the farming plot or use the manage town button on the lower right.

Assign your farming workers to each of the plots. You’ll start with three farming plots, so you can allocate more than one plot for Wheat.

If you want to increase your production, you need to upgrade your farming to speed up your crops. Recruiting better workers will also increase your yields per hour.

What is Wheat Used For?

Wheat is used for the following upgrades:

• Rank 3, 4, 6, and 11 on Recruitment
• Rank 3 and 4 on Mining
• Rank 4 and 6 on Smelting
• Rank 4 on Disenchanting
• Rank 9 on Shipping

Apart from these upgrades, Wheat can be shipped to other settlements in need. Some settlements give bonuses to specific goods, which increases your rewards. Most of your Wheat will be used in these shipping trades, and it is one of the best currency farming methods in the Settlers of Kalguur league.
