How to Get the V-R11 in MW3 Zombies

Season 1 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 adds new schematics, gear, and weapons to the Zombies mode. One of the new weapons is the V-R11 Wonder Weapon, which can turn basic enemies into allies with its laser orbs, and here is how to get it.

How to Find the V-R11 in MW3 Zombies

There are only two ways to earn a V-R11 Wonder Weapon in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies as of Season 1. Players can either get the weapon from the Mystery Box or as a reward for completing high level Contracts or bosses.

The Mystery Box is the more guaranteed option of the two, and even then is completely up to chance. Each purchase from the Mystery Box costs 950 Essence, which is not much after players complete a few Contracts. However, the reward is randomized each time with a somewhat huge loot pool, so chances that it will be the V-R11 can be slim.

Players might even exhaust an entire Mystery Box after using it too many times, which will then disappear. There are multiple Mystery Boxes across the entire Zombies map of Urzikstan, though it is up to the player to decide if it is worth the time to travel to each box and keep pulling the lever for this weapon.

The other method is receiving it as a Weapon Case as part of a Contract or boss reward, but that too can be random. Players will also have to participate in high-level Contracts, which will have more of a chance to appear.

Getting it as a Weapon Case also allows players to exfil with the weapon, and be able to use it in a future game. Weapon Cases are one-time use items, so be sure to equip the V-R11 in an important game.
