One of the many “hidden” Curios in Honkai: Star Rail’ Simulated Universe is the Thalan Toxi-Flame, a special drink that’s not that easy to get. You might be missing it in your collection, so here’s how you can get it easily the next time you’re running this gameplay mode.
How to Get Thalan Toxi-Flame in Simulated Universe
The Thalan Toxi-Flame Curio is obtained exclusively from the Genius Society #55 Yu Qingtu occurrence event. It won’t appear on Curio shops throughout any Simulated Universe runs (being it either regular SU or Swarm Disaster), so you have to trigger said event and obtain the Curio from it to complete your collection.
Genius Society #55 Yu Qingtu can be triggered in any regular Domain: Occurrence regardless of which SU mode you’re playing, You’ll have two options: “Add sugar” or “Add toothpaste.”, and the next step will be to either “Stir vigorously!” or to “Stir gently…” your drink.
You need to add Toothpaste in order to get this Curio. However, the stirring results are random, so there’s no “correct” option. I managed to get the drink twice by adding toothpaste first but picking different stirring methods. Stirring it vigorously increases the chances of getting it. But it’s still not guaranteed, though.
Aside from the Thalan Toxi-Flame, you can also get The Pinkest Collision by adding Sugar instead. If you’re lucky enough to get a Curio, it’ll always be one of these two. Stirring it vigorously also increases the chances, but it’s harder to get this one.
Picking the Path of Nihility or Path of Elation while playing on Swarm Disaster mode gives you a special Path Occurance in this event. The Nihility occurrence guarantees one of the two possible Curios, while Elation gives you both of them at once.
While slightly rare, this Curio is actually not that great as it can kill your characters at their turn, if they’re low enough. So be careful if you get it by accident or just to have it in your collection.
If you’re lucky enough to stumble on this event on a random SU run, just give it a try with some toothpaste to see if you get lucky. But if you’re targeting it, go for repeated Swarm Disaster runs with Elation on Difficulty I until you get it. It’ll take a while, but extra achievements are never enough.
