The final week of Season 2 in MW3 has begun, which means we get one final reward known as the Rook blueprint. Once the next season begins, there’s no going back to get it, so let’s get started on earning this HRM-9 gunsmith option in Modern Warfare 3.
How to Unlock the Rook Blueprint in MW3
Complete at least five of the Weekly Challenges in Week 8 of Season 2 for the Rook Blueprint as a reward. Five challenges can be completed across any of the major modes in MW3 or Warzone. So if you want to, it’s possible to complete three challenges in Multiplayer, one in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, and one more in Warzone. This allows you to take on some of the easier challenges for each major mode when you run into a roadblock with progress.
As the Week 8 Challenge reward, the Rook Blueprint is tied to tasks that require some of the Aftermarket Parts. Otherwise known as conversion kits, at least six of the Weekly Challenges have included Aftermarket Parts as rewards and now you need to utilize them to finish tasks such as getting longshot kills with the Tyrant 762 on the Longbow. However, the MWZ and Warzone modes seem to have some more general challenges.
While you’re on your way to earning the Rook Blueprint, you can also secure the final reward for every Week completed in Season 2 of MW3. If you checked off at least five challenges in all eight weeks of the season, then the Rotten Inferno camo can also be yours. As always, it’s a universal event camo and it has some animated features which makes it another decent addition to the overall cosmetic collection in Modern Warfare 3.
If you haven’t already, make sure to unlock the JAK Outlaw-277 Kit for the BAS-B.
