How to Get the Gwisin Vest in Destiny 2

Umma would be proud to see you wearing the old country's colors

Destiny 2 has no shortage of Exotics and you might go years without stumbling across all of them. That is certainly the case of the Gwisin Vest, which has eluded many player collections. Fortunately, if you are trying to complete your collection or just wanting to try out something new, there is a way to grab. Here is how to get the Gwisin Vest in Destiny 2.

How to Get the Gwisin Vest in Destiny 2

“The Traveler called me back. Told me my work on this side isn’t done yet.” — Seong-Do Whiteclaw.

The Gwisin Vest first belonged to Seong-Do Whiteclaw, a Korean Hunter who was awoken by the Traveler. What happened to Seong-Do is unknown, but as of Season 4 Guardians first received the chance to grab this Exotic chest piece.

And while it has been years since its release, the Gwisin Vest has never really secured a place in either the PvE or PvP, as it is outpaced by much more popular Hunter Exotics.

That being said, if you want to grab it for yourself, there are two ways to do so.

The first is to wait for it to be sold by Xur. For the last week of March, 2023, Xur is selling it in the EDZ at the Winding Cove for 23 Legendary Shards.

But if you miss out on the Gwisin Vest here, do not despair. The Gwisin Vest is part of the world drop loot pool. That means you can find it by killing enemies, taking part in playlist activities, claiming your Exotic Engram from the Season Pass, and grabbing an Exotic Engram from Xur.

As for whether it is worth it… well, maybe! At least if you like using Spectral Blades. Gwisin Vest’s Exotic Perk, Roving Assassin, ensures that each Spectral Blades kill you make before going into Steal will restore more of your Super Energy.

Super Energy Refund after 1|2|3|4|5+ kills:
[PVE] 11.1% | 14.3% | 16.5% | 16.9% | 17.1%

[PVP] 8.3% | 12.5% | 14.2% | 15.8% | 16.7%

It is much easier to grab those kills in PvE than PvP, so it is a good way to farm out that Super.

Also, fun fact! Gwisin is ghost in Korean.
